natural world by Washougal resident, Sandy Caldwell.
Sandy began taking photographs around 30 years ago, with an older, used Nikon camera.
She began by experimenting with landscape photos, but had to set her camera aside when
the kids came along and life became very busy. Her family moved to Washougal fourteen
years ago, and Caldwell fell in love with this area and the beauty that surrounds us. With
the gift of a newer digital camera about five years ago, Caldwell rekindled her love of
photographing scenes of the Columbia Gorge, San Juan Islands, and many other places
her travels took her.
Caldwell's exhibit will continue through October 27, in the gallery upstairs
in Camas Public Library. The gallery is open during regular library hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It's located at
625 NE Fourth Ave. in Camas.
